Avant Airlines

Fri Dec 08, 2000 3:00 am

Originated in 1996, began its operations with two B737-200s competing with Lanchile, Ladeco, National and Aerovias DAP in the domestic Chilean market. Bought National Airlines to years later, consolidating its fleet and establishing its own maintainance base. The hub of operations is Santiago International Airport, where serves more then 15 destinations within Chile. It also operates charter flights to seven routes , mostly to Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico and Brazil.

Current Fleet: eight 737-200
one 727-200

Not very known to the outside world, but it's a very colorful airline. Maybe as time goes by they'll become the 2nd airline to Chile and take over the empty space Ladeco left behind. Maybe Miami as a destination in the not to distant future.
