Fri Apr 02, 1999 4:38 am

Does anyone know when Alaska is supposed to receive their 737-700's?? I was talking with some Alaska Employees on the bus to the parking lot----they are using them on SNA routes but they can only operate at 55% of capacity.....

I heard also that they want the 737-700's by the summer travel season. They have been getting some new 737-400's. I can't wait until they get the 737-900's. Also Alaska Airlines is looking at the 737-700 cargo version.

My buddy is a captain for Alaska and was certified
this last winter for this aircraft. Alaska was planning
on taking delivery in Feb but now it have changed to
May at the earliest probably in June as mentioned above
and they will be on the busy routes, SNA-SEA. SAN-SEA
