Ua Plans ORD-New Dehli Route

Fri Apr 02, 1999 7:11 am

UA is planning to start non-stop ORD-New Dehli route using 747-400. The distance is 7,484 miles and will take over 15 hours to cover. It will be UA's longest non-stop flight beating ORD-HKG by a wide margin. I wonder if it would also be the longest non-stop flight in the world. Wow!

Those 15 + hour flights are truly a marathon and a test of one's endurance.

If that route actually materializes, UA will probably use their 747-400 OP, which stands for over pacific and holds 301 people.
