Big Sky Aviation

Thu Dec 14, 2000 5:10 am

Hi folks,

Last year there was a kind of soap series about an small airline in Australia.
Called Big Sky, they flew with Beech 1900D planes and i thought these are from Impulse Airlines.
This program was broadcasted here in Holland at RTL4 network.

Is this right or not?

Thanks in advance

Hi guys,
The series Big Sky was filmed at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport utilising the fixed base facilities at Impulse Airlines, but the aircraft of Avtex (t/a Airtex) Aviation from Bankstown Airport. Almost all footage was of their Piper PA-31-350s with Airtex titles removed. I was present at Lord Howe Island the days they were filming out there...spectacular scenery!
I did see the series on German TV recently, amusing seeing aussie actors Gary Sweet and Ally Fowler chatting in Deutch!
Cheers,
AJ
