Air France To Africa

Sat Dec 16, 2000 11:22 pm

Will be flying on an Air France A340/300 from Paris CDG to Antananarivo TNR, Madagascar, next February. Have never flown Air France before so what should i expect? Is there Tempo service any good, are there PTV's like in there 777's? Any information will be great...also what is CDG like for connecting in....how do you get between Terminals? Flying British Midland from LHR first. Thanks!

Some people say CDG is great, some say that it is hard for connections. It might be hard as the AFs flights are from the part 2 of CDG, the AF hub, and I think Britisch Midland is at CDG1, old terminal.

half of the AF 340 fleet is beeing equiped with PTVs, featuring the "promenade" program, with movies, games, music, geovision...
Hope you will get the chance to have PTVs.
Tempo is quite confortable, as is the 340.
Food is great. (but you might be dissapointed by the snak or breakfast)
Service is in general great.
F/As in general nice...

Hope you will have a great flight !

Oh, you fly to Tana! The arrival time isn't that great..but Madagascar is a wonderful country!! Enjoy your stay there. Air France is quite good, but not more.
