Convair 580's

Sat Apr 03, 1999 7:14 pm

Does anybody know the where abouts of the former North Central Convair 580's? Are there there any still with any airlines yet or have they all become freighters, or god forbid have they met the scrap pile? I hope sombody has the answer. I'd like to somehow be able to ride on one, since I missed my chance 11 years ago on the final NWA flight:(

I wish you the best of luck finding one but I believe most are freigthers. Or as much as I hate to say it........scrapped.

I don't know about the North Central part but if you want to fly on a CV-580 go up to Anchorage Alaska and book a flight on ERA. They operate about half a dozen still. I think they all came from Frontier through.
