Cockpit Visit Regs In US

Wed Dec 20, 2000 2:28 pm

I know i've seen this before, but a search didn't turn
up anything.. What are the regs for in-flight passenger
visits to the cockpit in the US? On my last l1011 flight they let me stay up till push-back, but I thought they were allowed to let passengers in once in cruise?

I'm asking cause i'm taking my last L-1011 flight tomorrow at noon ATL-HNL and want to make the best of it-- but I don't want to ask if there isn't even a chance.

Long live the L-1011 Tristar!

You are SO fortunate to fly on a DL L-1011! I envy you. Unfortunately, FAA regulations strictly prohibit in-flight visits! Sorry...
