Seating Charts

I want to know about those layout for any widebodied jets. Does the airlines chose the layout they want or does it have to be the productions plan to do it their way...?

ATA(American Trans Air) L1011-500
The Economy class has 10 abreast in each row. Can that happen to any widebodied aircraft like only on B777s ..???

It's upto the airline to configure their seating plan in any manner the wish. But airlines usually follow the industry norm and all have more or less the same seating plan on economy especially.

Its the airlines choice to meet there needs. If they want more economy seats, then they'll get it. All they have to to is made teh seats smaller, to add more across, and remove first class seats. You would be amazed at how many times airlines change there seating plans
