K.L.M. does indeed operate the 767. They have several 767-300ERs. As for what I heard, it is believed that the recent ILFC order for 777s include 10 777-200ERs for K.L.M. These aircraft will first be used to replace the MD-11s. While I wouldn't take my information to the bank, it also seems that from individuals inside K.L.M. that the 777-200ER has indeed been ordered. I believe that the 777 is a perfect choice for K.L.M. It will replace the MD-11 perfectly and will also fill the 747-200 SUD's replacement role in either the 200ER or 300LR form.
It would be interesting to see if K.L.M was to order 777s how NW would react. I personally think that the DC-10s should be replaced by a mix of 757-300s, 767-400s and 777-200ERs. This also give NW the ability to replace their 747-200s with 777-200ERs/200LRs/300LRs.
