I haven't heard of it. But I do believe that this route will still be operating for some time

Saw a report from Taiwan few months ago. If British Asia Airways pulls out Taipei, that will be the time for British Airways to Order A380 and fly to Hong Kong, and passengers will have to transfer at hong Kong to Taipei, otherwise, BA Asia will still operating this route, eventhough there's a possibility that they switch from 744 to 772.

I believe that currently 2 747-400s are operating for British Asia Airways. G-CIVA and G-CIVE.
