Sat Dec 30, 2000 5:53 pm

Hi,
I was only thinking about all the flights I have taken in my life, not many, about 22. But I wondered what evryone's most memorible flight was.

Mine was on Virgin Express (Ireland) B737-300, not great but hey! My first flight without my parents, I just went with a good friend to do a weekend of spotting and 'stuff', a wonderful experiance one I will never forget, a real laugh

And here is the bird that flew us there and back

Mine was on a Korean Airlines flight, i took a couple of months ago.

I was very surprised to find they were a great airline!! Better than SQ in my eyes.

Also Because we got to go on the 77-200 and the 777-300. Cool.

Cheers

My msot enjoyable flight is from Singapore to Hong Kong in 1997. I was impressed in SIA's service, and I just love that B744, and most important of all that mkae me love this flight, the interesting approach into Kai Tak!

Two leap to mind. My first flight. It was in Zimbabwe (then it was Rhodesia) and I was a small boy walking across the grassy aerodrome. The smells of dusty grass, kerosine and the air hostess' perfume (who was holding my hand) filled the air and the balzing sun beat down on the silver metal of the DC3 I was about to board. The air hostess also wore white gloves.

I've been a plane addict ever since.

The next most memorable flight was a BA service again over Africa, where the cabin crew delivered a baby boy in the curtained off crew rest area across the aisle form me. After seeing the great job they did, I'll never call an air hostess or steward a "space waitresses" ever again!

PS Kia Ora Mikey! I'm Aotearoa way too.

Most memorable flight-NW flight 95, after being delayed 6 hours, we were given lunch, calling cards, and an excellent hotel. On the flight, the crew was very nice and helpful. We arrived in Kansai, I saw the huge terminal at night all lit up, and I saw a CX777 taxiing by. It was a really nice flight

Most Memorable trip- A trip to Japan I took fout years ago, I started my interest in airliners and airports, and I enjoyed seeing many neat places on the way. I really enjoyed Kansai, it looked excellent on my first visit(It was only 2 years old). I also saw many relatives I haven't seen or talked to(I don't know Japanese yet) for a long time. It was a great trip.

For me, two come to mind, both took place in 1994.
First, was a weekend getaway flight with my then girlfriend to Reno from Ontario via Reno Air.
The second one was in May of 1994, when me and a friend took our first transcon flight to PHL via USAir.

My most memorable flight was the very first time I took to the skies. In June of 1982, at the young age of 6, my family and I boarded an Eastern airlines flight (727) and headed south to Tampa. where we did Bush Gardens and Disney World. The first time I took to the skies was so magical and so very impressive. There are some things you never forget, like the smell of the airplane the moment I boarded, hard to explain the odor, but its something I will always remember. My dad took a picture of me on that day. A picture of me sitting next to a window watching the clouds zoom by and I grinning ear to ear. Each time I look at that picture, I relive a small part of that first flight and the magical feeling I shall always adore.
