In Korea, No Charter Airline.

Maybe a little difficult to understand, but just keep in mind that Korea got competition for only 11 years.

Flumuc mentioned near all german "charter-airlines" a further is Hamburg International with B737-700. In summertime Deutsche BA serves some holiday-flights with B737-300.

I know that i forgot some! Thanx Sydneysider.

The a/c´s of Sun Express are registered in Turkey but of course it is half a German airline (in cooperation with THY!) Sun Express is also starting this year sheduled flights between Germany and Turkey.

Eurowings is also operating with their A319 charter flights!

A Russian one : Air AJT International. They have 5 IL 86 and, from time to time, a TY 154-M. And, I hope, some IL 96-300 very soon.

Based in Amsterdam:
- Martinair
- Transavia
- Hapag Lloyd The Netherlands
- Dutchbird
- Condor (as of summer schedule)

As of next summer schedule we get probably another charter airline which will be based at Amsterdam. Air Holland doesn't fly charters anymore (at least haven't seen a single charter this winter). and announcee they're going to fly scheduled only (some flight for Air Senegal).

Well, over here in the U.S. in New York we had Tower Air, but it seems that this Airline has ceased all flights and services, due to poor service...

There are no charter airlines based in POS but several fly here. The main origins of charters are JFK, YYZ and LGW.

Royal - YYZ - TriStars
Skyservice - YYZ - A320
Canada 3000 - YYZ - A330-200
Air Transat - YYZ - 757-200
North American - JFK - 757-200
ATA - JFK - TriStars
Britannia - LGW - 767 (? series, I have not seen their planes here but I know that they come)
Monarch - LGW - 767

Tower used to come here too until last year with 747s from JFK.

In Tobago, jmc comes in from LGW twice weekly and returns via Grenada. Condor recently pulled out of TAB and its other Eastern Caribbean destinations (Barbados, St. Lucia, Grenada and Antigua). Regional charters are flown by Barbados-based Trans Island Air (TIA) and Aereotuy from Venezuela.

Mexico:

Allegro: Started as chater airline with 722's and expanded buying an MD80 and now is going into scheduled flights and is having a regional airline Allegro Regional.

Magnicharters: Using 732 making flights from MTY CUN MEX MZT etc.

Aeroejecutivo: Also uses very old 722

Does anyone know about CityBird I saw an MD-11 of them a long time ago in MEX?

Don't know if there are more airlines in MX...

David.

ATA also has other charter bases, DTW is currently one of the biggest charter cities during the winter, with over 10 different charter cities with ATA's own tour divison, then you add in other folks like FunJet Vacations, etc.. DTW you will find mainly L1011's and B757s. ORD other west coast cities (LAX) are also big on ATA charters.
