Do You Know Good Seats In F70, A319,A320 And A321?

Sun Jan 14, 2001 1:06 am

Hi! I'm going to fly with Swissair A320, Tap A319,A320 and A321, Air Littoral F70 and Crossair MD83. Do you know any good seats in these airplanes?? In which rows are the emergency exits located? Best regards, Clemens!

Hi!

I've flown in TAP A320's and Swissair A321's and for me the best seats are always just after the buziness class, ahead of the wing and you can see the engine and all the wing configuration I also flew in TAP A320's in the back and it was not bad at all, you can also see quite well the back of the wing and the flaps comming down but it's more noisy than the front, TAP A319(320/321 are quite new with no more than 2 years old all of them!
Good flights and try to visit the cockpit in the TAP and Swissair flights I'm sure they'll let you see ( specially TAP!!! )

Do you know which rows that are? Are there also rows with more space for my feet(emergency exit?)I always try to get into cockpit for takeoff and landing. Normally I can stay there for the flight-that's the best place

Hi!

I think in TAP it starts from rom 8 or 9 on, but in Swissair it depends how the business class is, it changes quite a lot, I flew some with A321 from Swissair from Portugal to Switzerland and vice-versa and there was not one that the economic rows matched with the one before! About visiting the cockpit and staying there, well I can't garantee you that you can spend all the time there but I'm sure you can pass some minutes with them, in both airlines I've visited the cockpits. In TAP I was in their B. 727-100 and B. 737-200, with Swissair I was in the DC-9-81 and A310-200.
