I like the old one overall. I like the new bird on the tail and the way it sweeps across the plane. However the mix of very dark blue (almost black) and red is not appealing in my opinion. Plus the new CANADI>N in huge red uninteresting block letters across the front of the plane is really ugly, in my opinion. Of course eveyone has their own tastes. The old one isn't that interesting.

I liked the old colors but the new colors are good also. They kept the same kind of feelings in the livery. Overall new one is very nice.

To be honest the new Canadian Livery is what I would have expected on a Wien Air Alaska airplane if Jimmy Flood had not killed of the airliner in 1984. Wiens mascot was the goose.

Their goose would have probably been copper or gold in color and placed on a solid dark blue fuselauge.

I like the new colours better. I have seen the 747-400, 737, and 767 in the new colour scheme and it looks quite nice.

To AF777:

The new blue is not dark (or even black!). It's waaay lighter than it appears. The blue does look dark in internet and magazine photos though. The red 'Canadi>n' stands out more than the old blue, and is larger. But it's not that huge (only one the 747). It is quite small In general, the new look is brigher.

The new livery actualy looks representitive of what Canadian actualy is. Their last logo had nothing to do with Canada, so I never realy liked it. The Goose, however looks preaty good. Kind of interesting how they did the same thing as Air Canada and went to a more natural livery, with AC adopting a real Maple Leaf. Anoter aspect of how they are playing catch-up.
