Jet Train Airlines

Who excatly is Jet Train? Where did they fly? I know they are gone now.

Routes included Pittsburg to Newark and Orlando. I believe they had only one DC-9-30. Imagine when it was out for maintenance. The whole airline would be shut down. I didn't care for the paint myself. It was white with black and gold trim. Interior colors were shades of beige and if I remember correctly they had black leather headrests. Boy I sure know what info. you are looking for don't I? ...........Haha

Actually, I believe they had three planes. I remember they leased a gate from AA in Nashville. I was waiting on a Southwest flight at the gate across from the JetTrain gate. Apparently, one of the JetTrain planes had mechanical problems and another was running behind. Some of the the grumbling passengers had been waiting for their flight for ten hours. Not good. They were gone weeks later.

Their original name was Air Train.
