Mistakes On T.V. Shows About Planes

Wed Jan 17, 2001 4:33 pm

Hello,

About 45 minutes ago, I turned the t.v. on to the history channel, and there was a show about planes. Cool!

Well, as I watched, I noticed mistakes. Here are some of them.

-The A330 was airbusses answer to the 737.
-The A340 was airbusses answer to the 767.
-They made several mistakes regarding the 767.
-When talking about the 777, one of the video clips was a Lufthansa A340 turning left...yeah, like thats a 777.

This is my thing, if they are going to make a show, make it factually correct. Put the correct pictures of planes for that type that is being talked about.

I'm sorry, I just have to vent right now.

Good Night,
David

That's interesting, I was watching the same show!

I was in and out of the room, but I certainly didn't catch any additional mistakes.

I just finished watching the show and did notice all of the mistakes mentioned above. Still, there were plenty of nice shots of beautiful Boeing aircraft during production and in-flight.
