Let's keem them going!!!!!!!

So far, only CTBarnes has attempted to answer all 10, and he has come agonizingly close.
Actually, he has gotten 9 out of 10 right.
I won't say which one he got wrong, though.....

Also, regarding the MD-11's, I wasn't aware that there was a sixth airline. So, with that in mind, I'll take any 5 out of the 6.

End Of Contest

Fri Jan 19, 2001 2:17 am

Effective now, 9AM PST, January 18, this contest is hereby closed, with no winner declared. Please see my post under the "Free Prize For Trivia" thread explaining the revised rules that go into effect next week.

Anyway, thanks to all who participated in this weeks contest. Some of you came really close. But the one question that nobody got right was #8-regarding who flew scheduled MD-80 service between ONT and SNA.
Well the answer may surpise some of you (and one of you got it half-right)
It was TWA and Northwest.

Stay tuned for next weeks quiz, which will be posted on Monday, January 22, 2001 at 5:00 PM PST.

Next weeks prize will consist of the Dragon Wings Pan Am 727-200 1:400 scale model that was not won this week, plus next weeks prize, which will be a Reno Air memorabilia starter set, consisting of timetables, ticket jackets, luggage tags, and a nice color advertisement to fly first class, suitable for framing.

Hey, wait, wait! I meant to say Northwest, not Southwest! (why would I say Southwest, they've never operated the MD-80!)

As the saying goes, close, but no cigar.

Oh well, too late. Can't wait till the next one...

Great job Matt D!

One more thing,

Can you give us a final list of the correct answers? And maybe a little bit of background for some of the answers? (i.e. American Eagle's 707 - if true, I would like to know the story behind that one!)
