734 In US

Mon Jan 22, 2001 11:50 am

Aside USAir, are there other airlines in the US which flies the 734 ? Maybe Southwest, not even sure...
Never let the facts get in the way of a good theory.

WN does not operate 734s. Only 732,733,735, and 73G. Other US 734 operators include AlaskaAir, and Morris Air used to.

At this time, Alaska also flies them.

Airlines that flew them, but no longer exist:

Carnival
Pan Am II
Pro Air
Piedmont
Markair

Morris Air fly 737-400's?????????

Show me the proof...either a picture, or a source that would confirm that. I would swear that Morris only flew 733's

I'm going to have to side with Matt D on this one. Morris Air eventually would fly a 20+ strong fleet of 737-300s.

MattD is right.

At their peek Morris had 22 737-300s out of a hub in SLC and along the west coast. That was a contributing factor to why SW bought them-total fleet commonality.

Fellows,
N686MA used to fly for Morris Air as B737-4S3 originally ordered by Sunrock Leasing Company today flies for Alaska Airlines as N786AS.
