SWA New Livery

Tue Jan 23, 2001 3:21 pm

I'm sure this topic has already been answered, but I don't feel like digging for a thread. Here's my question:
In Aviation Week (22 JAN 2001) on page 41 there is a caption under a SWA plane in a new livery. Is SWA changing all their a/c to this new blue scheme?
thanks,
wft

Yes indeedy.... After 30 years the Ickky Gold is out and 'Canyon Blue' is in. Don't look for it to be a quick change either. Herb said it will take up to ten (that's 10!!) years to repaint everything.
