Greetings And Question

Sun Jan 28, 2001 9:24 am

Hi everybody. This board is new for me. I hope lots of good information will be in it. I like to use the online internet for airplane pictures and news from airlines. My favorite are airlines from north america (like united, delta, and valujet). I need for to ask a question

I read on the website that Northwest Airlines will order some new airplanes soon. Will they order any BAe-146-100 airplane?? DrukAir (who fly from my airport) has BAe-146-100 and Northwest has them. I want see them get more to fly in.

Welcome to our Internet family....
let me just welcome you by giving you some tips on what not to do here, otherwise, you'll end up in some hot water.

1. Never, EVER say that Airbus is better or worse off than Boeing. Both are excellent types. Both have their strengths and weaknesses. So unless you want to discuss a very specific aspect of the planes (range, engines, seat pitch, etc.), you bess not make that kind of statement.

2. Since you are new here, before you post a new topic, scroll back a few pages to see if it wasn't already discussed. Redundant topics only serve to irritate the rest of us that have been here awhile.

3. Don't post vague and nebulous questions-specifially the "What do you think of Air XXX's service between XXX and YYY?" Because, for the most part, few of us care. Oh yeah, don't give a eulogy because an airline dropped a particular route. This will have no observable impact on your life whatsoever. So please, spare us the boo hoo, this route is gone sob stories. Try and stay away from any and all "What do you think of......?" questions, period

4. This kind of goes along with Boeing vs Airbus. Don't come on, and spout off something like "I hate Air XXX".
If you had a bad experience, fine tell us the facts, and leave the emotions out as much as you can. Name an airline. Any airline, and I guarantee you that it will not only be someones favorite here, but also the one most hated by someone else.

Thanks to you for sending rules for this website. I will try to not brake the rules.

But I want to see if Northwest Airways ordered some more airplanes with BAe-146-100.

Hey man, welcome as well. There is some good info here. My day has just ended in EWR and I am on my laptop. I always like to check in and see whats going on. The 146's that you see are not owned by Northwest, they are by Mesaba. Mesaba is a regional feeder for Northwest. That is why they are in there livery. Basically everyone is getting new airplanes. What N.W is going to get I am not sure, I know that they were plagued with problems on there last batch of Airbus 319's. There is nothing wrong with Airbus though. I love to jump seat on them, those crews have it made. Keep checking in and I am sure we will find out what N.W is getting. Have fun, learn alot and Welcome

I don't need for Mesaba airplanes. I would like to see if Northwest Airways (they fly to Detriot if you dont know) is getting some new BAe-146-100 airplanes. I like the colors of Northwest Airways and the BAe-146-100 airplanes are good when they fly on Druk Air to my area. Thank you for help to me.

Druk Air

Welcome on board.
Not often we see someone from Buthan!
Your country is the only one, with Vanuatu island as well, where my company's planes never flew to. We couldn't get the landing authorizations...your local CAA is god damned strict! a limo but with wings
