Does anyone have any hard news about the status of the Wings Alliance? Links would be helpful.

From what I can gather - 'Wings' is already a reality - its just not formalised.

KLM
Northwest
Malaysia Airlines
Kenya Airways
Jet Airways

and their subsidiaries already code-share widely and have corresponding timetables. Their FFPs are all aligned and to all intents and purposes the alliance is very much there - just without an official name.

braathens continental/copa maybe japan air system alitalia maybe malew they all work together with codesharing,like braathens and alitalia,klm and malew,etc etc....
don,t forget martinair
so i think there is a wings a live and not dead

On another topic there are rumors about the possibility of a possible commercial agreement between KLM and Alitalia. I think that this should be good for both the airlines. Do you think Alitalia fleet needs to be renewed or is it OK?
