BA777 In Chelsea Rose Scheme

Mon Apr 19, 1999 12:29 pm

I saw a BA777 in the chelsea rose scheme today at DFW. It looked shiny and spotless like a brand new aircraft. I'm not sure if had just been washed/serviced or if it really was new. Its registration was G-VIIS.
I've flown on 9V-SPK.

I believe that aircraft was delivered just this month, so you guessed right.

While we're on the subject, didn't BA's most recent order call for RR powered 777s?

Yes, the 777 in the Chelsea Rose is one of British Airways newest planes, just delivered in this year. (By the way, I havent been on it yet)
