Hi ,

I hope this will help you,

You have daily flights
sea-lhr on 747-400 BA
sea-cph 767 sk and ua
sea-ams DC10 nw

First one i guess is the best choice.

Actually BA has a daily flight to SEA from LHR using the B747-200 not the B747-400, and there's SAS using a B767 to CPH, there's also Aeroflot using the B767 to SVO, I think three times a week, but the B767 is being upgraded to a B777, and there's the NW DC10 flight to AMS.

last year, lufthansa was conducting a feasibilty study on five western US gateways, including SEA, PDX, SAN, PHX and DEN, which to inaugurate services to. well, PHX and DEN eventually made it.
but i think other cities are not entirely out of the picture. it still should take some time before LH would introduce more new destinations in the states, but i certainly could imagine SEA being one of them.
just my thoughts

I don't believe United operates a 767 to CPH, rather a code-share with SAS on their flight 939/938, using a 767. Other than that, Aeroflot 767 to SVO, BA 747 to LHR, NW DC-10 to AMS, and cargo flights by Cargolux and Martinair Cargo. Martinair used to operate passenger service to SEA, and the other week, I thought I saw a passenger MD-11 of Martinair at SEA. Anyone know what is going on here?

Mason is correct UA has no trans-atlantic out of SEA, the CPH flight is a codeshare I believe on the SAS flight. My guess is the Martinair was a charter.

As for the other western airports mentioned above, I know BA was looking into PDX but don't know the outcome, probably not on the immediate horizon, as for LH anyone know anything else about this?

When I worked at SEA, Martinair had a 747 on Sunday and an MD-11 on Wednsday both cargo flights. BA changes equipment depending on the time of year. Doesn't UA still fly through DEN to Europe? I thought they went one stop to LHR or ORY. I can't see LH going to PDX at all, but with all the noise over the third runway at SEA and DL closing their Asia service out of PDX, I guess that would look good.
