Predstavnici JAT i G17 Plus saopstili su u cetvrtak na konferenciji za novinare u Beogradu saopstili da je JAT zbog dugogodisnjih sankcija izgubio prihod izmedju 1,5 i 2 milijarde dolara, da duguje oko 350 miliona dolara, da je izgubio trziste, kao i da nije dovoljno ulagano u odrzavanje aviona. Ucesnici konferencije za novinare, dekan Saobracajnog fakulteta u Beogradu Obrad Babic, pomocnik generalnog direktora JAT Miodrag Markovic, predstavnik Udruzenja inzenjera vazduhoplovstva Djordje Lukic i clan G17 Plus Dragoljub Djukanovic
istakli su da je u JAT neophodno sto pre uraditi prestruktuiranje, dokapitalizaciju i modernizaciju. Oni su konstatovali da ce JAT za 10 godina dostici godisnji nivo broja prevezenih putnika od 3 miliona,koliko je imao 1987, javlja Srna.

Representatives of JAT and G17 Plus (economic think-tank) said on Thursday, at a press conference in Belgrade, that because of years of sanctions JAT has lost between 1.5 and 2 billion dollars, lost it's market, has accumulated $350 of debt and that not enough was invested into the maintinance of planes. It was stated that JAT must restructure as soon as possible, increase it's value and modernize it self. They stated that within 10 years JAT will transport 3 000 000 passengers, the same number as in 1987.
