How Many Los Angeles-Tokyo Flights Are There?

Tue Feb 20, 2001 6:52 am

I know that the obvious carriers like Delta, JAL, United, ANA, and Northwest all fly the route, but I know that others liek Thai fly it, too. Does anyone have the exact number of daily/weekly flights on the Los Angeles-Tokyo route there are?

I know DL operates a daily, LAX-NRT route with an MD-11. On April 1, they're starting LAX-NGO, also with an MD-11. Actually, I posted a thread regarding JAL's LAX operations. Might want to do a search on that...I think they operate LAX-NRT, NGO and KIX. Hope that helps.

I've flown to Singapore a number of times on Singapore Airlines and stopped at Narita coming and going for refueling, etc. Don't know if they take passengers only on the LAX to Narita leg. Seems like all of my fellow business class passengers and I always fly on to Singapore. But from Singapore, many deplaned in Japan.

Airliners.net has many forums. It has spell check and search functions. Use them before posting!

At Narita's website, http://www.narita-airport.or.jp, you can see how many flights there are today. But it doesn't show you what plane flys.

JaseWGTN is correct, only, JL operates only 12 non-stop flights to NRT, the 13th one is a one-stop service via NGO.
