Air China To Leave CPH

Thu Feb 22, 2001 7:13 pm

Air China will withdraw their twiceweekly 747-400-service to Copenhagen, Denmark from this spring. The flight is routed via Stockholm, Sweden on the way back to Beijing. The Stockholmservice will remain. Does anyone know the type of aircraft for the sole ARN-service?

According to Amadeus, that would be a 74E, e.g. a B747-400 Combi.

However, Amadeus still has the flight leaving from CPH (CA912 CPH-ARN-BJS) in its system, so I don't know if this information is reliable.

Maybe the information is very new, and the flight hasn't been withdrawn from the reservation systems. At this time, it is still open for booking ex CPH.

I have checked with the civil aviation authorities in Sweden and they confirm that there will still be two frequencies a week Beijing - Stockholm and 747-400 as aircraft in use. Valid april - october 2001.
