NW 55 Equipment?

Sat Feb 24, 2001 6:20 am

I will be flying NW 55 (AMS-MSP) on March 17 and wondring if it's a 742 or 744.

The scedule says 742 and so did the NWA flighttracker until some days ago whn they changed to 744.
Will the 744 service last, or will they change back to the good old -200?

BTW: Does the new -200 interior looks completly identical to the -400 or has it still the "window frames"

It's scheduled to be a 747-200. Though equipment substitutions utilizing the 747-400 occur in the Minneapolis market, it normally is for the Asia flights and it really doesn't happen all that often.

You have plently of time to check out the 747-400. Time's running out for the 747-200's! Enjoy it while you still can...

Enjoy the 747-200 flight, you really won't feel like you are on a -200 because they are so well maintained.

I see what you are saying though, 55/56 have been 400s yesterday today and tomorrow.
