Singapore-what Airlines Do They Own?

Sat Feb 24, 2001 11:07 pm

Hi,

I am trying to find out how much and who SQ owns.

This I know:
SQ
VS-49% stake
Air New Zealand -? (Air New Zealand owns how much of Ansett?)

Does SQ have any ownership stakes in Virgin Express or Virgin Blue or a potential Virgin Canada?

Thanks for any answers,
Joe

I think SQ owns something like 25% of NZ, but I think they want to up it to close to 50% but they cant due to NZ foreign ownership laws. However, unfortunately NZ inturn own 100% of Ansett Australia.

What I know is that SQ once own some stakes in DL and another European airlines, but not sure which. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

By the way, SQ owns 101% of MI and could soon be the shareholder of AI, should the Indian Government approved SQ-TATA bid on AI.

The DL thing ended years ago. I remember at one stage, SR, DL and SQ had this alliance and they each had a share in each other. It didnt work out so they all called it quits years ago.
