Alitalia Makeover?

Thu Mar 01, 2001 12:23 pm

Does AZ need a new look or is it timeless?

Hi

I hope AZ does not change it's look.

It's one of those timeless liveries that is instantly recognizable.

It could be modified to be with the times, otherwise its a classic outdated livery Smile

I think it needs a little refining. The long green strip down the fuselage looks dated & what's with the black nose cone?

Maybe just un upgrade with a thicker cheat line and a grey belly or something similar to Cathay livery.
The black nose is original and it is indeed the coverage of the radome, like on military planes.

I think AZ's livery is quite a good and neat one, but a better one is welcomed!

AZ's is timeless. Classic, stunning, and still strong.

Alitalia's livery was introduced in the mid 70s and was waaaay ahead of its time then. Frankly, its one of those timeless liveries that will stay a classic forever much like Chanel No. 5, the little black dress, and a 68 Ford Mustang.

Sorry guys, but the alternatives you've posted above are ugly beyond belief.
