1969: Courrèges Or Ysl?

Sat Mar 10, 2001 3:17 am

Does somebody know who designed EL-AL's uniforms in 1969? The stewardesses wore an orange suit with miniskirt in summer and a dark grey one in winter. The highlight was an amuzing orange hat (worn year-round). These uniforms were in use from 1969 till 1984. I thought the creator was French fashion star André Courrèges, but I've recently read another source quoting Yves Saint Laurent.

Thanks for information!
