Judge Awards TWA To AA

Tue Mar 13, 2001 3:59 am

Judge Walsh has given AA the go ahead for acquisition of the assets of TWA. As of this time, he has not ruled on Karabu.
I just read this on Fox news website..market wire.

Again...best wishes to the employees of TWA on their new home.

I've not seen the reports, if this is true seeing the end of TWA is a very sad thing, but the way it's happening isnot as sad as the ends of Braniff, Eastern and Pan Am, with stranded passengers and thousands unemployed. TWA's a fine airline to travel on, above the usual standard.

It's debatable how AA will act long term, making TWA work will be a big challange, it's so very sad things didn't work out better....
