To Follow 9V-SPJ's Topic On Flight Numbers

besides SQ, what carriers operate their outbound flights from their home base with an even number and the return with an odd one ?

sq2 sin - sfo
sq1 sfo - sin

logic would tell me to make the outbound flight the first one...

ideas / thoughts ??

I hope you don't mean all SQ flights because thats not true. Most flights to Australia and New Zealand are the other way round if not all of them.

Rule of thumb was that Eastbound flights are even numbers and Westbound flights are odd numbers.

Of course, that old theory is shot to pieces now with hub systems.
