Airtours A320s

Is there some sort of problems with them? Sometimes leaving NCL, on longer flights the a/c land at MME for technical reasons. Why is this. NCL has a longer runway than MME so I wouldn't think its fuel-related. Anyone help me? Is it something to do with engines because the only A320 thats ok out of NCL is G-TPTT. None of the other airlines A320s operating out of NCL have any problems.

I dont know if this is a reason, but GTPTT is a 320-211, the other 320s are 231, who knows if there is a difference?

well thats the only place i have ever heard of this happening with Airtours planes. so i guess its the engines

Nowadays the only A320 based is always G-TPTT or in the summer it can be one of the A320s leased from Skyservice (Canada) although they are normally based at MME. Does anyone know if AIH plan to base a larger a/c at NCL anytime soon? A321 maybe?

Airtours and Premiair made a switch a couple of years ago where Premiair swapped their A320's with Airtours as the original Airtours aircrafts have longer range. Without having checked the census, I will assume it's the ex Conair/Premiair A320's you have problems with.
