Did Boeing Influenced The B717 Construction?

Fri Mar 16, 2001 10:46 am

Is it an exclusive design from McDonnell Douglas or did Boeing introduce new changes according to their philosophy??

Generally I dont like MD designed aircraft and I really hate the B717 design Insane.
But there is something special on B717s with TWA livery... In fact, they look great Love. For me it is one of the rare cases that a livery makes an ugly aircraft look wonderful.

I recall seeing a Boeing brochure on the B717 shortly after its redesign by Boeing. 13 or 15 _major_ systems changes were made to include different APU, different electrical system and major redesign of hydraulics.
