Mexican People... Please Help!

Thu Mar 22, 2001 5:47 am

Hey guys, I'm doing a research about MTY capacity and I would like if someone can help me to answer this questions:

How many planes spend the night in MTY?

How many planes of Aerolitoral spend the night?

Do you know how many operations has MTY daily?

That would be helpful.
Thanks,
David.

Hi David,
Well i was based at MTY flying for Aerolitoral. As of last week, when i flew into MTY but now on Aeromexico, spending the night at the gates were
Aeromexico: 1 B767-200/ 1 B757-200/ 5 Md80's including the one we came in on/ 4 metros/ 3 Saabs, and some other metros and saab at the Aerolitoral Hangar.

Mexicana: 1 F100/ 1 B727-200/ 1 DC9-31 of Aerocaribe(MX regional)

Aviacsa: at their hangar are at least 4 working planes, the rest are being canivalised.

Continental: 1 B737
American: 2 F100/ 1 Md80
DELTA(Comair) CRJs 2

and thanks to the new ramp (which is mainly used for
cargo planes, will be your tipical : B727 DHL /
Fedex 1 B727, and UPS B757.

So as you can see MTY is crowded at night and at day!

Hope this info is of some help!
