BMI British Midland currently have 4 A332s on order, with options for a further 8.
However, I read (on Pprune) that BMI are currently in negotiations with Airbus to scrap the A330 options in favour of A340s instead .
-Can anyone confirm this?
-Does this seem like a likely thing for BMI to be doing?
-Obviously A340s cost more, so would less than 8 optional a/c be being considered at the moment (if it's true)?
