This seems to be a sad year in aviation for enthusiasts and fellow workers, having to mourn over the retirement of old friends such as the L-1011, the DC-10, the 727,the 747-Classics, and also great airlines and names in history such as TWA. I would like to take this moment to mourn over the dissappearance of this great airline, whom once pioneered the skies of the world with its famous name, which was recognized all over. TWA was the first airline I had ever flown, eventhough I was a few months old, it is a part of me, just as aviation itself is, and now it is dying slowly, thanks to giant companies that amass great power and dominance, such as American Airlines. But I am not bashing these great companies for they have worked very hard and now, that hard work is being payed off, but I am here to pay my respects for TWA, may the name never be forgotten in your minds.
