Sun Apr 01, 2001 2:57 am

I noticed while I was looking at Flightview.com they are now using a Boeing 777-200 for JFK-NRT and I was wondering what happen to the Boeing 747-400 they had used on this flight. Will they be using it in tomorrow's new nonstop JFK-HKG?Where did they remove the 777 from?

Yes United is using the 777 for this trip. Part of it is for capacity reasons, and another one is becasue they needed a 747 to do the HKG flight, and this is the one that was avalible.

Scheduling in ORD does a wonderfull job of moving planes around. This aircraft could be one of the brand new 777s, or it could be a swap in for somewhere else. It could be the plane that came in from EZE...you never know. But, those people in ORD can do wonders.
