B737.7 Or MD83?

Sun Apr 01, 2001 1:55 pm

I have flown in the same month the 737.7 SW and the MD83 of TWa...and i was surprised to notice and feel that the MD83 is more comfortable and less noisy inside the cabine. I was desapointed of the 737.7 pressurisation, it was a bit noisy and not really comfortable during it's flight straight level. But compare to that the MD83 has a better pitch angle!
Which one do u like?

I flew the 737-700 with CO and it was a great, and quiet ride. You can't compare WN's service with TWA's.

Maybe you were sitting towards the front of the cabin in MD83 and around the wing on 73G. Sitting at the back of any MD jet isn't the most soothing experience unless you're one of those odd ones who enjoy the engine purr.

I was seating on the back of the MD83 and the engine didn't bother me at all compare to the 727...but i was in deed just at the rear place of the wing let's say just close to the flaps...but i flown before on the exit place of a 737.2 and never felt so noisy!

Oranges, definitely. In the mean time, the 737-700 was an awesome plane, but when I flew on an Alaska MD-80 I was sitting right next to the engine and y'know what? For all my dislike of Douglas post-DC8 products, I absolutely loved the MD-80. I really want to ride on a -90 one of these days. Anyway, for me it'd have to be MD-80.
