Yep NW donated a 747-200 N608US to WMU. Why? Free publicity, I guess. They were gonna scrap it anyway. They took out all the engines and business and first class seats. As far as I know thats all they took out. I didnt notice any of the instruments missing. Mind you I dont know that much about how many instruments are supposed to be there. Its really cool sitting in the captains seat. It gets around 120F during a hot summer day in there. Anyway to answer your other questions WMU is a popular aviation school, we have students here from all over the US. Yes BA does send their cadets here, along with air lingus and Emirates.
