I think all or most 777s have crew rest areas. They wouldn't use them on such a short flight as IAD-DEN. They would, however, use them on an LAX-LHR flight. Remember, pilots can only fly a max. of nine hours a day, that's why there are relief crews.  Smile

Happy flying,

It depends.

There are currently four different crew rest configurations in UA's 777 fleet.

#1:
Pilot: United First Suite
FA: 6 YC seats-frnt. of YC*

#2:
Pilot: United First Suite
FA: 6 YC seats-back of YC*

#3:
Pilot: 2 bunks fwd. of door 1L
FA: 6 bunks below door 3

#4:
Pilot: UA FC seat
FA: 6 YC seats-back of YC**

and then there's the domestic version with no crew rest...

F L Y 7 7 7 U A L

*-39" seat pitch with footrests
**-32" seat pitch-regular YC seats

On my flights LAX-CDG last month, the pilot rest area was seat #3A. It was a blocked off "FirstSuite". Very nice for the pilot, that's for sure...

I'm not sure where the F/A's have their rest area.
