Carry On Policy

Fri Apr 13, 2001 1:14 am

This is not the most exciting topic, but how much carry-on luggage do the major carriers allow. As of may 2nd HP is going to limit carry on to 1 bag + briefcase/stroller/laptop per customer and check 3 bags at the counter. Old policy was 2 carry ons and 2 checked bags. This should improve boarding delays, but implementation may be a bit stressful. These days it seems like people bring their whole closet on board. Personally I think people going around the airport engulfed by thier many carry-ons is very comical. Just curious to know what the other carriers policies are. Thanks

On BA, the policy is 6 kgs. If you fly J/F it's 18 kgs. World Traveller plus is 12 kgs.
I used to think the brain is the most fascinating part of my body. But, hey, who is telling me that?
