Casa Demands Inspection Of Ansett's A320's, 737's

Sat Apr 14, 2001 1:37 pm

This morning, in the Courier Mail, it stated that the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) is demanding to inspect Ansett Australia's Airbus A320 aircraft, and Boeing 737 aircraft.

I hope they don't find any more breaches in safety.
What is your opinion?

RE: Ansett's A320's, 737's Have Passed

Nope, they didn't.

CASA could not find any defects in the Ansett A320s or B737-300s during spot checks yesterday.

Political pressure of various sorts would have contributed to CASA's recent performance, one only needs to look at their change in tone of voice. It is currently the subject of a parliamentary inquiry (CASA).

Cheers,

Justin
