To Anyone Who Has Information On The AGS Airport

Please give me some information on the Augusta, GA (AGS) Airport. Thanks!

Up until last year DL had daily jet service to AGS. During peak times...i.e. the Masters, DL flew an L-1011 there and this year it was a 767-400 that shuttled to ATL. ASA took over the routes to ATL during the past year.

The only other operator there is USAir Express carrier CCAir. They fly to CLT with DHC-8's and I think they may still have J-31's that operate to CLT.

It is a very small terminal; a shack really. Very quaint and informal and open, literally open walkways to/from the plane. I can't remember if they had a jetway or not as it's been some time since I've been there.

AGS has 2 runways

6001' (8/26)
8001' (17/35)

Exus is right about it all. ASA operates ATR 72s and CRJs from ATL.
