You are in for a treat. BusinessElite is one of the best transatlantic business classes. The seats in the 777, MD-11, and 763ER are essentially the same. The 777 and MD-11 share a common width which is much, much wider and more comfortable than the 763ER. This is because both (777/M11 and 763ER) have the same 2x2x2 layout in BusinessElite, but the 763ER is much narrower (2x3x2 in coach rather than 2x5x2). Food and service is very good. It tends to be slow out of ATL for some reason, so if you don't want to waste an hour and a half go with the Express Service. Each seat has a PTV system with several movie channels, audio, AirShow, and games. Service not quite as impressive as when the product was first launched, but still by all means excellent. You'll have access to the BusinessElite Lounge in Atlanta; the Crown Room Club in Gatwick; and any other Crown Room Club at any other city you may pass through on this itinerary. i.e., RDU-ATL-LGW will allow you CRC access in RDU.
