Interesting Trivia?

Fri Apr 20, 2001 5:02 am

I just read something about the Eisenhower system of state roads and how every 5 miles there is supposed to be a mile long stretch of straightaway in case an airstrip is needed. Anyone ever heard of that? I just thought it was interesting trivia.

Other trivia: AA saved $40K a year by omitting one olive from each of its salads.

Are people pulling my leg or is it true?
just a thought. have a great day guys.
