Cathay's 'new' 777-200

Sun Apr 29, 2001 6:51 am

I know that Boeing made significant modifications to 777 #1 for CX. But how similar is it to their existing fleet? What's the model designation, does it now carry CX's 67 code?

It will be a 777-267 and should be identical to the others in the fleet.

The 'new' B777-267 is a little bit different to other B777-267s already in the fleet.

The seating in Y-class is 3-3-3 with PTVs. Check out the CX website and you will see there are two different seating plan for B777-200.

N7771 was converted to a Series 267 standard as B-HNL.

What about the mechanical specifications, eg avionics, communication equipment etc? Are they completely identical?
