Can We Expect More Asian Carriers In LatinAmerica?

Mon Apr 30, 2001 3:42 pm

Hello :

I want to know if someday Latin America will be visited by more Asian carriers.

Today the only carriers that have scheduled services to Latin American countries are Japan Airlines and Malaysian Airlines.
Japan Airlines flies from Tokyo to Mexico City and Sao Paulo.
Malaysian Airlines used to fly to Mexico City and today they fly to Buenos Aires via Johannesburg-Cape Town.

When will I see a Singapore Airlines Megatop or a Thai 777-300 at Mexico City
