AA From RDU To LGW 777

Starting sometime in late June or early July the one daily nonstop between RDU to LGW will go from a 767-200 to a triple 7.

It's about time! I thought they would do it either this year or next year because last summer they went up from a 767-200 to a 300 and with US Airways starting A330 service in CLT it seemed to make sense. Plus the news paper did an article about the flight and American mentioned that the 777 was a possiblitly since the route is one of their most profitable. I will be sure to look for it later this summer.

It looks like it will be July 2nd for the first 777 service according to AA's website.

No, ive heard this before 1st march they where meant to start the 777 service, ive seen the 762/763 loads of time after then, this will NEVER happen, mark my words

LGW, it will happen! it is on our schedule for july.
it is a big money maker, why do you think AA kept it after they shut down RDU. and have a small base just for LGW.
