Continental Now With A 777 To MAD.

Sat May 05, 2001 9:17 am

I was checking the Continental website and I found that they are changing their DC10 aircraft to a state of the art 777 for EWR-MAD route.

I can´t tell if this route is that profitable, due to the fact that there are several daily flights from Madrid to New York. Although Continental´s is the only one at Newark.

FLIGHTS BETWEEN MAD-NYC

IBERIA daily 742 JFK
DELTA daily 763 JFK
AIR EUROPA three or four times a week 762 JFK
CONTINENTAL daily DC10 EWR

No 777 on this route, it will be switching to a 764 from a DC-10.

They fly the B777 once in a while to MAD. But I think it is gonna be a 767-400 in the future!!!
